J+J Holder

We wrapped up the J+J Holder project in December 2024 — a renovation and custom carpentry job focused on improving flow, function and comfort across several key areas of the home.

Working closely with JC Interior Design and a trusted group of trades — including Crown Kitchens & Joinery, ARQ Plastering and AT Pro Painting — we remodelled the kitchen, living, laundry, entry and ensuite to bring new life and usability to the space. A standout feature was the reconfiguration of the ensuite, which we extended into an adjacent bedroom to allow for a larger shower and the introduction of curved internal walls — adding softness and visual interest to both rooms.

The layout updates were paired with practical and sustainable upgrades, including double-glazed sliding doors for improved efficiency and indoor-outdoor flow and a set of stairs made from a recycled benchtop from a previous project. Throughout the kitchen, laundry and living areas, we installed new joinery featuring Victorian Ash timber, adding warmth and natural texture to the interiors.

This project is a great example of how thoughtful design, quality materials, and close collaboration can completely reshape the feel and function of a home — without needing to start from scratch.
